The Jackson County Rose Festival announce Miss Jackson County USA RoseQueen Scholarship Contestants
On January 27, 10 remarkable young women were named as contestants for the 2018 Miss Jackson County RoseQueen Scholarship Pageant.
The Jackson County Rose Festival is pleased to announce the following young ladies from left to right, top row: Mackenzie Fairbanks, Alana Bushinski, Jennifer Holubowicz, and Sierra Olmos. Bottom row: Kurstin Tschabrun, Leslie Bradley, Abbigail Nelson, 2017 Miss Jackson County RoseQueen Emily Downs, Morgan Bell, Celia Napoletano and Taylor Brenner, will compete for the 2018 title. The Pageant focuses on important long lasting life skills such as outstanding public speaking, commitment to community, poise and leadership. The majority of the scoring will be focused on these areas,” says Lynda Waldron, Executive Director of the RoseQueen Scholarship Pageant.
On Saturday, August 11, 2018, ten contestants will compete at Western High School’s Performance Center to determine who will wear the crown and represent Jackson County at the 2019 Miss Michigan USA pageant. Tickets will be available for this year pageant at www.jacksonrosefestival.org. Adult tickets are $15.00, Students ages 5 to 17 are $7.00 and children under the age of 5 are free.
