2019 RoseQueen Candidates Announced

The Miss Jackson County RoseQueen Scholarship Pageant has announced the candidates who will compete for the 2019 title of Miss Jackson County RoseQueen.  The pageant has paired the contestants with sponsors they will be representing leading up to the pageant in August.

The candidates and their sponsors (in above photo, left to right, top row):  Lindy Kelso Miss Walton Insurance Group, Brianna White Miss House of DeVaughn Bridal, Shannon Watts Miss Huff Auto Group, Savannah Foster Miss ERA Reardon Realty, Sarah Brown Miss Wildwood Auto Car Wash and Sierra Brown Miss JTV.   These young women will compete for the 2019 title. The Pageant focuses on important assets that will help develop long lasting life skills such as outstanding public speaking, commitment to community, poise, and leadership.

The majority of the scoring will be focused on these areas,” says Lynda Waldron, Executive Director of the RoseQueen Scholarship Pageant.

On Saturday, August 10, 2019, these ten outstanding contestants will compete at Western High School’s Performing Arts Center to determine who will wear the crown and represent Jackson County at the 2019 Miss Michigan USA pageant. Tickets will be available  soon at www.jacksonrosefestival.org.

Leading up to the pageant, contestants will be participating in community events, including the Jackson County Rose Parade.
