Celebrating 60 Years of Tradition

Celebrating 60 years The Jackson County Rose Festival is the premier community event in Jackson. Run by a Volunteer board and supported by the generous donations from our local corporations and business, the festival proudly presents, the Jackson County Rose Parade, Miss Jackson County RoseQueen Scholarship Program and Miss Jackson County Teen USA Scholarship Program.

The Miss Jackson County RoseQueen Scholarship Program is in its 59th year, providing the largest educational and financial scholarship opportunities for young women in Jackson.  In 1960 the pageant was designed to be a fundraiser for the festival, and with the help of members in our community the pageant has evolved providing over $150,000.00 in educational scholarship opportunities and over $10,000.00 in financial support. The Miss Jackson County RoseQueen Scholarship Program contestants are supported by candidate sponsors who work with our contestants providing an opportunity for each young woman to express her personal and professional goals.

The Jackson County Rose Festival is pleased to announce the following young ladies from left to right, Celia Napoletano, Miss Pro Image Uniforms, Leslie Bradley, Miss Walton Insurance Group, Sierra Olmos, Miss House of DeVaughn Bridal, Mackenzie Fairbanks, Miss JTV, Kurstin Tschabrun, Miss CP Federal Credit Union, Jennifer Holubowicz, Miss BlueOx Credit Union, Alana Bushinski, Miss ERA Reardon Realty, Morgan Bell, Miss Experience Jackson and Kelsy Lopes, Miss Jackson Radio Works will compete for the 2018 title on Saturday, August 11, 2018, at Western High School’s Performance Center to determine who will wear the crown and represent Jackson County at the 2019 Miss Michigan USA pageant.  Tickets will be available for this year pageant at www.jacksonrosefestival.org. Adult tickets are $15.00, Students ages 5 to 17 are $7.00 and children under the age of 5 are free.
