RoseQueen Finalists Appearing at Fairy Festival

Miss Jackson County RoseQueen Emily Sioma along with the eleven finalists for this year’s RoseQueen will be attending the 7th Annual Fairy Festival.  Emily and the finalists will participate in storytime, reading to the children and assisting with the crafts and activities of the day.  Also joining in the festivities will be Ellen Wilson, Miss Jackson County Teen USA.   The Annual Fairy Festival is a free community event with activities, performances, vendors, food and special treats. All are encouraged to dress up and explore the Fairy Kingdom, have tea with the Rose Queen, make fairy related arts and crafts and get your face painted too. See and hear strolling musicians, meet a Knight and make a sword or dragon wand, make a Fairy Terrarium and visit Ye Ole Fairy Shoppe too. See performances in the Ensemble Theatre by the Fairy Festival Players and ballet students from Jackson School of the Arts. Some activities have nominal fee of $1-5.   Jackson School of the Arts is located at ART 634, 634 North Mechanic Street in Jackson.  The hours are Saturday, 11-4 PM, Sunday 12-3 PM.
