RoseQueen Pageants in Final Rehearsals
Final rehearsals and preparation for the 2015 Jackson County RoseQueen Pageant are underway this week. The 56th Annual Miss Jackson County RoseQueen Scholarship Pageant will be held on Saturday, August 15th. Doors open at 7 pm, at the Western Performing Arts Center, 1400 Deering Rd. in Parma, Michigan. 12 Amazing young women will compete for the title of 2015 Miss Jackson County RoseQueen. Each candidate will complete a 10 minute private interview earlier in the day, and will compete in evening gown, swimsuit, talent, and platform statement that evening. The next Miss Jackson County RoseQueen will win educational scholarship opportunities totaling over $115,000.00 and each contestant will be awarded cash scholarship awards. Total cash and prizes provided total over $250, 000 each year. “Each year we strive to provide each young lady with more than just prize money, our goal to coach and mentor each candidate, provide them with leadership opportunities and help them develop long lasting life skills. The memories these ladies create will last a lifetime.” Said Lynda Waldron, Executive Director of the Pageant.
Friday evening Miss Jackson County Teen Ashley Sierminski will pass her crown to the 2015 winner, and at 1pm Saturday August 15th, we will be crowing our new Miss Rose Bud Teen, pre-teen, Jr, and Little. Tickets are available for all three events.
