The Rose Parade committee is pleased to announce Dr. James O’Connor as the Rose Parade’s Grand Marshal for 2017. Dr. O’Connor was nominated by the St. Luke’s Clinic Volunteers. He has received numerous honors and awards including Volunteer of the Year, Healthcare Angels, Citizen Patriot Citizen of the Year; and recognition from the Kiwanis Club. Dr. O’Connor’s nominators stated, “His sharing of himself and hours to this community through the clinic, the church, the food pantry, the Kiwanis and many other organizations he works with pays so much forward. His mission work and his giving of himself in the healthcare community is amazing.”
