Miss Jackson County Teen USA

The Jackson County RoseQueen and Teen pageants provide young women in Jackson County with unique opportunities to learn, grow, and make connections within the Jackson Community. First and foremost, our mission is to provide young women in our community with resources to develop confidence, foster a passion for community service and involvement, and overcome a fear of the unknown! When you register for the Miss or Teen pageant, you aren’t just signing up for the grande finale that we present each August, you are making a commitment to participate in a program that pushes you out of your comfort zone. We utilize each meeting to provide resources and insight to help our contestants hone their skills and knowledge in public speaking, interview, resume building, stage presence, community service, teamwork, and confidence!

If this sounds like your ‘cup of tea’ then complete the registration form linked on our website! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out, we are happy to help!

Phases of Competition:

Interview:
Before the actual competition, the contestants will participate in a brief interview with the panel of judges. This is a fantastic opportunity for the judges to get to know the contestants and ask questions about their resume, platform, and community.

Swimsuit/Activewear:
Remember a time you threw caution to the wind to have fun, be carefree, and felt your MOST confident self? This is THAT phase of competition. Swimsuit/Activewear is your chance to showcase your style, personality, stage presence, and confidence!

Evening Gown:
Think glamorous! This is YOUR time in the spotlight. We know how many hours you spent thinking, planning, and working on this program and this is your time to shine.

Talent:
Contestants are given a brief period of time to showcase their talent. The talent portion is a fabulous opportunity to showcase the hard work, commitment, and creativity of each contestant!

Onstage Question:
Answering an onstage question is where all of that public speaking practice and preparation comes into play! You have a platform to answer a question, use it. Don’t be nervous, you will have PLENTY of practice, trust us!
