Picnic in the Park begins immediately following the Rose Parade. The Parade ends at the Middle School at Parkside and the Picnic in the Park is held at Ella Sharp Park, across Fourth Street from the school.

Jackson Public Schools Food Service continues the tradition of providing guests with a great meal of Chicken BBQ or Pulled Pork Sandwiches at a great price! Other tasty vendors provide fresh squeezed lemonade, pizza, elephant ears, and much more!
Wild World Zoo will bring you closer to the wild with an exotic petting zoo and farm animals. You’ll have the opportunity to feed and get photographed with your favorite animal or reptile!
Dunk Tank – dunk your favorite local celebrity in ice-cold water from 2:30 pm to 5:00 p.m. Past-area Celebrities include:

Touch A Truck Area allows kids of all ages can touch and explore Fire Trucks, an Ambulance, Heavy Duty Vehicles, Police Cruisers, Tow Trucks and More! Sponsored by Michigan Community Credit Union.
Wood N Creations will be creating a custom chainsaw carving which will be raffled off at the end of the Picnic in the Park.
Free Face Painting in the Kids Area, for all children provided by the Child Evangelism Fellowship.
Children’s Coloring Area provided by Jackson Masonic Lodge

NCCC Sanctioned Corvette Show – Registration online. Dash plaques, goodie bags, door prizes and people’s choice voting.
