Anne Wegrzyn is an Education & Communication Coordinator at Jackson Community Medical Records/Henry Ford Allegiance Health. For over 20 years, Anne has taught all ages and levels and she continues to take pride in guiding others. Before joining Henry Ford Allegiance, Anne taught 2nd grade, then went on to become a college professor at Jackson Community College and Lansing Community College. Anne graduated from Spring Arbor University with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Education. This is Anne’s first year serving on the board and although she considers herself to be underprivileged in art, she is excited to share her enthusiasm and commitment for her community. Previously Anne was responsible for organizing and distributing prize donations for Lumen Christi High School Senior Night and worked with students with improving their reading skills with Energizing Education. Currently she serves as treasurer for her bowling league and has for the last two years. Anne was born and raised in Jackson and with her husband, Terry have seven children and one dog.
Lynda Rupp Waldron
Winner of the 2013 Rose Award. Lynda has been a resident of Jackson for 25 years after moving here from Brighton. After Spending 16 years in the wireless industry, Lynda now works Allegiance Health as the Gift Shop Supervisor. She has also been the Supervisor of the Volunteer Resource Center for the Great Lakes Blood Region of the American Red Cross. Lynda also has had a successful career in acting and modeling. She had the privilege of hosting “Variety” one of JTV’s weekly line up of shows. In addition she has also appeared in print and statewide television commercials. Lynda has been volunteering for more than 20 years. She is an active member in Business & Professional Women's Organization, Women’s Leadership Council of the United Way, Martin Luther King Foundation, MLK Challenge Day adult facilitator and she also serves on the advisory council at Quest’s Jackson and Lansing Campus’s.
Windy was our 1996 Miss Jackson County Rose Queen and has been actively involved with the Rose pageant for the past 12 years. Windy is employed by Jackson Community Federal Credit Union. Windy attended JCC where she was a member of the Starfleet Ambassadors and she studied music. Windy has been a guest performer at such venues as the Grand Ole' Opry, Nashville Palace and Disney World. Windy brings her love of the performing arts as well as her strong belief in the Miss USA system to serve as our Executive Director of the Miss Jackson County Teen USA Pageant.
Meaghan is a first year board member. Employed by Henry Ford Allegiance Health, Meaghan is one of two Physician Liaisons and Advanced Practice Professional Recruiters. Born and raised in Jackson, Meaghan remains active in her community. Past involvements include Big Brothers Big Sisters and in 2013, Meaghan received the Jackson 30 under 30 Award. This is awarded every year by the Jackson Magazine to thirty individuals, under the age of thirty who have a significant impact on the Jackson community. Meaghan has also been a United Way Campaign member and most recently, was selected as Vice President Elect for the Michigan Recruitment and Retention Network. As Meaghan completes her Bachelor's Degree at Spring Arbor University, she has also had the privilege to become an Honor Society Member and will graduate in March of 2017. Holding her event planning certificate, Meaghan plans to share her creativity, coordination and dedication for all activities and is excited for this new opportunity.
Curtrina Brenner, a lifetime Jackson resident is a first year board member. She uses her creative talents as owner of Save the Date Events, Decor & Photo Booths. She serves the community as this year’s Vice Chair for the Ambassador Committee with the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, while serving on committees such as JAXPO (Chamber’s Annual Business 2 Business Expo) and Restaurant Rally.
